…well, whenever the sun sets tonight wherever you are to whenever it sets on May 1st. Here’s your informative Wikipedia link: Beltane.
I was gonna take the week off of touching old photos and Photoshop but just because it’s Beltane/May Day here’s a summer nature photo from like 2010 or something insane like that. I still can’t believe I survived the 2012 apocalypse.
It’s kinda heavily touched up but whatever. Enjoy it, I may not bombard your inboxes for a little while because like, I need a break from postprocessing and sorting.
Like I said, the gallery’ll be added to whenever I find something usable with it, but the odds of me having any suitable Gloom photos before winter are slim. Here’s another one.
Okay, there might be one or two more photos suitable for the Gloom images, but I think this is the last one that’s going to come up, possibly til I do some more photography come winter.
Next up will be my portfolios, hopefully they’ll be done by the time this weekend is over.
Two more shots to be added to the Gloom galleries. If you haven’t checked it out yet, the Gloom section is here or in the main menu. Or you can just look at them here, on this post, if you’ve already seen that, because they’re shuffled in at random there…
Too many happy flowers today, so I went ahead and made some sad and darkened winter trees for you to be depressed over.
Here’s how it’s going to work: I’m going to add work to the Gloom project page as I make it, and I’ll put them in the newsfeed before adding them to it.
It’s sort of a constantly incomplete project I’ll be adding to in bits and pieces. Go check it out if you haven’t alerady.
I’ve posted a new project, the one I mentioned earlier. I will probably be adding to it later, but here’s the link to the Gloom Project (which is a themed photo edit gallery).
Basically they’re images meant to evoke the older Pagan underworlds- the gloom of Hades or the frozen mists of Niflheim. Go check it out; it’s also got a link in the menu for now (click the hamburger).
Same old Maymont, same old waterfall.
